Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh has lit up the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom floor with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice.
The couple were riding high at the top of the leaderboard after week three and earned solid praise from the judges and fans at home following last week’s stunning performance.
Ranvir and Giovanni still managed to score an impressive 20 and were described as “fabulous” by stand in judge Anton Du Beke.
Being partnered with the 30-year-old dancer has also seen the award-winning journalist’s confidence soar.
The 43-year-old explained: “I write myself off quite a lot, but Strictly is reigniting a small modicum of pride in what my body can achieve, even though I take ill upon it. I think that’s the joy of Strictly.
“It’s a big moment in anybody’s life to be on Strictly. It’s invigorating, it’s exhilarating, and you feel incredibly lucky.”
Fans of the mum-of-one have also noticed her sizzling chemistry with her pro partner, including her GMB co-host Piers Morgan.
After quizzing Ranvir about her and Giovanni’s “magic” he joked the so-called ‘Strictly curse’ was returning – but insisted as both of them are single, it wouldn’t be a curse.
The presenter also teased his co-star about whether or not romance could be on the cards for them.
Ranvir laughed off Piers’ comments while Susanne Reid insisted it would be a “blessing” not a curse if something happened between the pair.
However, Ranvir did admit that Giovanni “sizzled on his own” as she talked about their intimate dance moves on the show.
She added: “He doesn’t need me in the room, he’s a 30 year old hot Italian. He sizzles around the place.”
Cheering his mum on is Ranvir’s number one fan – her eight-year-old son Tushaan.
Ranvir is a single-mum to her little boy following the breakdown of her marriage to his father, and her ex-husband, Ranjeet Singh Dehal.
The couple married in 2012 but are believed to have split up some time ago with the ITV presenter keeping her personal life out of the limelight.
She revealed she was single when it was announced she would be appearing on the 2020 series of Strictly.
Ranvir seemed to suggest that she had found something incriminating on a partner’s phone when discussing whether you should check your partner’s device with her co-host Ben Shephard.
She admitted she had looked at a partner’s phone “once” before Ben asked if that’s why they were no longer together.
The political editor said: “I can’t answer that question but I have always thought that if you ever feel you need to do that then the relationship is over because you obviously don’t trust that person.”
Ranvir has always refused to discuss the reasons behind the marriage breakdown for the sake of her young son.
She told Woman and Home: “I keep my private life private, mainly to protect Tushaan.”
The devoted mum and her little boy have an extremely close relationship, she says because it’s just the two of them at home.
However, she said she does have one over-riding fear when it comes to being a single mum.
Ranvir explained: “I do get quite tearful sometimes and I worry he’s going to hate me when he grows up because I was never there.”
The GM host also confessed her feelings of “guilt” because she couldn’t be there to take her son to school due to her gruelling early morning schedule.
